It is a method by the computer system.
At first the model is read with the scanner, the designed data is sent to the processing machine, and the crown or coping is plane from the block material.
The processing of the zirconia which is is hard next to the diamond, is impossible in past hand work.
Note … Because "ZIRCONIA." that we are using in Wol-ceram system is VITA In-CeramR ZIRCONIA. It is Alumina base, and the content of zirconia is about 30%.
Product that we can offer with CAD/CAM system in Japan at present, is only "CAM-MIRAY Crown". It is hybrid facing material on Titanium coping. Titanium full crown is also available.
We will provide "Nano-Zirconia" coping with CAD/CAM system on April 2007. Please expect it. . As of December, 2006
